Can Tabac be melted into a bowl, or does it not respond well to being melted?

You're better off grating it and pressing the shavings into a bowl. Tabac and MWF are tallow based and don't respond well to the melt & pour method, which is meant for glyceryn based soaps

I love both. I've found the cream-at least the tube I have-has an additional note of citrus such as bergamot compared to the soap.

What about different scents? I personally like the scent, it's just different.

I'd noticed so many positive remarks toward Tabac, I just had to try it. I'm not afflicted with an AD for soaps and creams, so I don't have a very broad range to compare to, and all my other soaps and creams are mild scented. So, the Tabac was a shock to me, nothing subtle about the scent. It's a scent I like, so that's OK. The stuff whips up some great lather with little effort and I really like it. Really creamy and smooth, a great cushion. I'm glad I tried it.
