Thanked: 4The Bluebeards Revenge
Hey Y'all.
I saw this nice cream and heard really good reviews of it, watched a few videos on YouTube and the lather is beautiful, I don't think I've ever seen anything so creamy. Straight to the point, the product contains an ingredient called Decelarin. And supposedly it's slows down/ reduces the growth time of the beard. I would really like to try this product as It can be delivered to my front door. But, the thing that makes me hesitant is that ingredient.
I don't mind shaving at all, actually I enjoy shaving. I don't want my beard slowing down, or reducing the stubble of growth.
If anyone has this cream, what's it like? If anyone does have it, have you seen any changes to your beard?

Thanked: 1195I've heard the claim that it will slow beard growth for a few years, and though there have been a couple members who have experimented with it I don't recall any definite statement that it's true. I believe mantic59 tried it for a while but gave up IIRC.
From all accounts Bluebeard's Revenge is a great cream that never really caught on. If you use it in a rotation with other products I'm sure it will not have any ill effect on your beard (assuming the claims are true, of course ).

I agree I wanted to try it but I like shaving as well and don't want it slowing down anymore. I shave most days but could get away every other w/o a problem and I don't want it any slower. I've looked at this a bit and I think the company looks awesome. That is the one out of England and their stateside brand is Dreadnought (I probably misspelled that) that looks like a gladiator instead.

Thanked: 485I agree entirely, I mentioned this somewhere in a post a while ago I think. I don't think the marketers really 'get' their customers, but I don't think they're marketing to the average obsessive straight razor user with RAD and HAD etc. I like the look of the product but there';s no way I'm going to introduce MORE weird chemicals into my life that easily...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Yeah you'd have to be one of those always hairy guys I think in this type of hobby to want a little slower growth. If they take that product out I'll probably get me some but until then I'll just think it looks cool.

Good point, I don't want to add anymore chemicals on my face, even though it looks cool and all, I dont want my beard going anywhere.

Thanked: 3I wonder how it would work on the head? As a head shaver (with not that much to shave to be honest!), I wouldn't mind the growth up there slowing down!

I actually have it. I used it a few times, but I'm not crazy about it. It does lather well, cushion, glide, all that stuff. I'm not very fond of the fragrance they use. It's hard to describe. As far as slowing down beard growth, I never noticed it. It's a very soft cream.
