Hey thanks everybody! I'm really enjoy this user friendlier format. The twist up tubes I selected off ebay under a search for twist up tube. 2oz is the size I believe though I can remember for sure.

I wet my face then put on some proraso preshave, then wet the arko and rub on face. Then hit it with the wet brush adding water to it as needed by wetting the tips. It works great while I know not everyone loves the smell, it doesn't bother me at all. I opted to try a stick as a travel option for convenience but it's all I've been using since I've got it. It shaves about 5minutes off my routine in the lather department, it face lathers very quick and it's tough to miss with this stuff.
It can be drying to the skin but milder weather is coming and as such have been countering any drying effect.

Well, I couldn't stand it! So I sent off for some Arko the other day. It is cheap, two tubes for 1.64 USD, but the shipping is six bucks!! lol. I probably could have found a better deal, but at seven bucks, it's still cheaper than most I end up with. Some Tabac is on the way as well, I've been wanting to try it for some time now.

I don't think you will be disappointed in either the Arko or the Tabac.

I just wet my brush and rub it on the end of the stick until I load some soap on... THen I build the lather in the scuttle.. No problems yet.

One of the vendors who advertise on this forum was kind enough to send me a free stick since I was a newbie and this stuff is simple to use. I just use what my niece (5 years old) likes to call "my scratchys" to scratch a little off the stick and into my beard. It has a simple clean smell.
