First, find out how much Hirlau will pay for it.

Second, if his offer isn't big enough, use it!

Third, let us know what you think.

Quite simply, vintage Yardley shave soap is one of the best soaps you will ever find. Great scent, lathers exceptionally and leaves your face feeling like a million bucks. I'm jealous.

I have vintage Yardley as well as some other vintage soaps and I would absolutely use it. It lasts for a very long time, but not forever and the scent is the first thing to leave. Enjoy it now while you can get the full experience.

It's a fantastic soap but IMO much of the passion for it is driven by nostalgia; not a bad reason to a man of my age. Ther are many other modern soaps just as good, but if you are a shaving classicist, the Yardley is one of the core canons.
