First, find out how much Hirlau will pay for it.
Second, if his offer isn't big enough, use it!
Third, let us know what you think."The ability to reason the un-reason which has afflicted my reason saps my ability to reason, so that I complain with good reason..."

Quite simply, vintage Yardley shave soap is one of the best soaps you will ever find. Great scent, lathers exceptionally and leaves your face feeling like a million bucks. I'm jealous.

Thanked: 13I have vintage Yardley as well as some other vintage soaps and I would absolutely use it. It lasts for a very long time, but not forever and the scent is the first thing to leave. Enjoy it now while you can get the full experience.
It's a fantastic soap but IMO much of the passion for it is driven by nostalgia; not a bad reason to a man of my age. Ther are many other modern soaps just as good, but if you are a shaving classicist, the Yardley is one of the core canons.
