There's plenty of options for under $20.

As has been stated, refills are the best bet for soaps, as well as shave sticks. There are also many value brands to choose from as well.

For creams there's also cheaper brands like Tabac, Speick, and Musgo Real. You can still try some top shelf creams by purchasing tubes (instead of the tub) and travel sizes.

Well today I picked up a tube of CO Bigelow Eucalyptus & Menthol. Im mad because I shaved last night so I cant try it today, but my next shave I will definitely be giving it a shot. Im also thinking about picking up a bowl of RazoRock and a puck of VDH Luxury to try out as well. I mean I've got multiple razors and multiple after shaves, so multiple soaps and creams seems like a good idea. Variety is the spice of life right?

Give Al's Shaving Creams a shot too. Excellent product.

One of the first soaps I tried was the VDH Luxury and I still find it a really nice soap. I will end up getting another puck if I can ever stop trying different soaps, but I have been limiting the soaps I buy cause I have found a few that I really like and might end up just going with those.

Well I tried the CO Bigelow today and actually think that from first performance, it will definitely stay in my rotation of cremes. The scent is nice and the menthol has a great cooling effect. I can see this being a great summer time creme. The scent is very nice and if you apply too much it may also have the added benefit of clearing your sinuses. Haha. I added a bit too much water by accident when splashing my face for my second pass, but it still performed very well.

I dont think I will shave again until Sunday night or Monday morning, but then I will be trying VDH Luxury and will report back. With all the soaps and cremes I have at the moment, I shouldnt need to buy any more for quite a while, although I doubt that will stop me.

I recommend Musgo Real. Probably the best performing cream there is.
