Default Who saves their lather for the next day??

Just wondering if anyone else saves their extra lather and reconstitutes it with a little water the next day? I'm finding that my Rooney Heritage size 3 in super badger makes so much lather that I can get about.... 6 passes out of it. I feel like I'm wasting the suds if I just wash them down the drain.

What are the ups and downs to saving it? I find no difference in performance and, correct me if I'm wrong, can't think of any nasty stuff growing in my soap after only 24 hours.

    Thoughts and comments appreciated

Take a look at this thread. Been subscribed for a while. Seems to have no effect on the brush.

I've wondered about that. I've only cleaned brushes that I've sold. I throughly rinse my brush under hot water, shake it out every time so ....... it seems to me that soap is soap .....

Brooksie, I'll start saving my used lather and when I accumulate enough, send it to you ....... customs would be bewildered by "used lather" ....... gift .......

What I'm doing is definitely not keeping it in my brush. I leave the lather in the bowl and clean my brushes religiously.

I can't see that doing it that way would hurt anything. The other alternative would be to load less soap initially. OTH I am just not that frugal that I would worry about a little soap going down the drain.

Im way too OCD to not rinse out my bowls and everything. It would drive me insane! After I shave I end up having to clean everything before I even leave the bathroom. I once left a little bit uncleaned while I took my son to school and it drove me crazy until I got back and was able to finish cleaning it all up. Im sure it dont hurt by leaving the remnants of the soap in the bowl, I just personally cant do it.

Jimmy, you can get just the puck for much, much less. It is an excellent soap. But I agree, it's a waist of money to buy it in the large dish.

I have a puck of MWF in the bottom of a mug that I load and lather on. MWF seems to like to have a fair bit loaded and water added slowly, which results in a lot of extra lather. Usually, when I'm done shaving, I'll squeeze the extra lather out of my brush and back onto the puck.

I'm with the OCD crowd. Would bother me too much to leave it not looking as close to coming out of the package as possible...lol.
