Damn, I've got to get me one of these since our government doesn't want to be ready for such an event... Quebec cancels zombie apocalypse training scenario
Back to topic... I've had great success freezing Cella soap so far. I got the 1kg brick and cut the thing in 16 parts, wrapped all pieces individually in saran wrap and used a ziplock bag per 4-5 pieces to keep it all tidy in there (an air-tight container would be better of course, but that's all I had at the time). The Cella kilo will probably last 2 years and, being really creamy, freezing is pretty much required. As for harder soaps, if you really have too much, I would simply leave them in the original packaging and use an air-tight container to stop them from drying out in the freezer.
Cheers.

Yes, but only 1 piece after a couple months of freezer time. No noticeable difference so far. Of course I would have to update this statement every time I thaw a piece over the next 2 years... I can't promise to try, but I'll try to try... Also, the Cella is the only soap I've frozen so far. By the way, I claim no credit at all on this freezing method, I just used someone else's from a post on that other shaving forum...
Cheers.
