Thanked: 121Freezer for soap
I have wayyyy too much soap already, and last night ordered 6 pucks of MWF from Connaught. I've heard soap can go rancid, although I've never experienced it, and I do have pucks many years old that I bought second hand, and they work fine. Should I just relax? Or would they keep better in the freezer? Other suggestions?

Thanked: 1195The biggest cause of rancid soap is storing it in a container while wet. If it's stored dry the worst that will happen is that it will eventually dry out yet still be usable. You can relax and enjoy your lifetime supply of MWF

I kind of stock up too. I started vacuum packing my extras with a food saver vacuum packing system. Pulls a good vacuum and seals the bag tight. It's worked good.

Is it so you gentlemen can be well shaven even after the zombies come?

Yes, I hate that!
In the good ol days they made stuff better and better, when it was good enough they stuck to it.
Today they don't seem to care if it any good, as long as it's something new!
Zombies, did I say that... I meant to say nice weather today, no zombies coming.... non at all!Hur Svenska stålet biter kom låt oss pröfva på.

Thanked: 12Make sure you put that soap in nice containers. Don't want to pull 1 out 1 day thinking it's a popsickle and take a bite lol.
