Can't go wrong with proraso, it has a very light and refreshing scent. C.O. Bigelow is the same thing and you can get it at bath and body works.

I use Trumper's products and, as mentioned up-thread, GFT (or limes as well) is very fresh and light; nice fur summer use. Almond is very nice too—I 'borrow' some of my dad's from time to time—it's very, well...almondy; I really like it but I could also imagine that using it on a daily basis might be a bit overpowering.
Violets and rose are nice but I get bored of them after a while. I kind of have two alternating flavours on the go at once, though, and then change each time I run out. (Currently on a violets/sandalwood. Probably going for GFT/almond next, despite what I just said.)
Didn't like spanish leather. Haven't tried eucris but am tempted to.
I also use creams and have recently been considering buying a soap but I dunno...
Plus, I should probably try products from elsewhere, sometime.
This kind of turned into my life story, so I'll leave you with that to consider.

Thanked: 146Truefitt and Hill sell a sample pack of creams and balms for $10 with free shipping. I really love their West Indian Limes, it's a little spendy, but great performance and scent.

Thanked: 1195Creed (the cologne maker) makes shaving soaps, that strikes me as a "young man" type of scent. It's pricey and not really my thing, but that's one suggestion. Another is Penhaligons' Endymion, which is absolutely fantastic.

I agree with the opinion of just getting her to puy you some A/S or man stink she likes and mellow down your soap choices. Usually my stronger stinks over power the soaps no problem.

I agree with those who have recommended the Lime scented soaps, anything citrus-y reads young to me. Mama Bear, Straight Razor Designs, Mike's, and most of the major brands make soaps with citrus overtones. Check out the websites and read the reviews. Right now some "younger" scents I use (I'm 29), are Truefitt and Hill west indian limes, Mama Bear's Bonzai, and SRD opus X.
