I really like the T&H Unscented and 1805 shave creams. I have a tub of each and though they may be pricey, they last a long time...you only need a snurdle at a time for a 3 pass shave.

I have used a big range of Truefitt & Hill products and found them high quality. Good stuff.

I have 1805, Grafton, and Sandalwood shaving cream tubs, the 1805 and Grafton aftershave balms, and the pre-shave oil. All of it fantastic, pricey but worth every penny. Truefitt & Hill makes great products.

Did you get their sampler pack? That lets you try the whole range to see what you like. For me, Trafalgar wins, hands down, thought they're all nice (sandalwood, almond, rose, west indian limes were also favorites as I recall).

Have recently begun using Truefit and Hill Lavender shave cream. Excellent stuff. I don't know how it would compare to AOS stuff, but it beats everything else I have tried so far hands down. The very first thing which impressed me was the near-instant latherability. I had a perfect lather in about 5 seconds, literally. And it just got better from there. I think you'll like their stuff.

What's your lather process? IE, do you use a scuttle, how much water do you load into your brush? Just curious. I have a scuttle and it takes me a minute to get a lather with AOS.
