I'm loving the Mikes Naturals Soaps and I am always going to the MWF...

I have been trying out the Proraso soaps and my jury is still out on them. I have the white and red. The red is nice but I'm thinking the white has a bit too much menthol stink. It hurts my nose to take a big whiff when it's on my face. I'm going to finish the tub of both and see if I miss them enough to buy more.

You should definitely buy another puck of the MWF with whatever other soap you get, or you are going to miss it a lot!

Mike's Natural Soaps have quickly become my favorites. I love the Bay Rum and Orange, Cedar, and Black Pepper. If you want a more traditional, masculine scent try the Barbershop. Lathers up real nice and it's so hydrating that I usually don't need any post-shave products besides a cold rinse and plain, non-Thayer's witch hazel.

I was always a big fan of Pre de Provence. Its not too pricey like some soaps, its got a real nice sage scent, lathers well and comes in a nice tin and a fare size at 150grams

You have been given great suggestions, if you are thinking of sandalwood, i would suggest to try Taylor's of Old Bond Street. It was my second soap and I liked it a lot.

Klar Seifen comes in sandalwood and is as good as any soap I've tried. If you like the MWF scent, this one is different, but also mild like the MWF and with a clean, simple quality to it. The soap itself outperformed MWF for me though others may feel differently.

The other soaps I'd recommend probably have too strong a fragrance for you.

Just started using Proraso Red (Sandalwood) in the tub and it has a nice scent, not overpowering. Performs as well as the old green tub standby and it is not overly expensive if you don't like it. Might want to put that on your list too.

I need a recommendation for a replacement soap. I like MWF a lot, but I’m not sure I want to shave with it for another year straight. If only MWF came in a sandalwood scent to switch to.

    Recommendations?
This post makes me feel like the king of gluttony, and I'm pretty darn sure there's alot of guys way worse then me, so to speak! I mean i have at least 10 different soaps and multiple cremes and any given time, i feel like i have none, and if i had it my was i'd probably use a different one every day, letg alone the same one for a year! Its sort of like those, if you could only have one razor threads......

Anyway if you want a glycerin soap SRD or Mamma Bears must be general consensus, you choose the scent that you can deal with for the next 365 shaves!

As for a creme Castle forbes makes a nice product as does Crab tree and evelyn... Even AOS has a few nice cremes at a reall cheap price (when compared to castle forbes)

If you where looking for a hard soap, its depending on your budget, theres a few nice options in this category... C&S being the one that comes to mind first.....
Most would argue that MWF would be a great choice for a second rolling year, but i dont operate the way you do , and personally i would be board of MWF after a week straight. ymmv

If nobody has said it already I will highly recommend you buying and trying out Tabac. IMHO one of the best out there.

Well I did only have the Van Der Hagen soap but now thanks to all these posts I now have 3 new ones on the way.
Cella, MWF, and Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shaving Soap. Looking forward to the sandalwood.
