Since you mention soap without smell: Colleen also provides unscented soap upon request. I use it, and it's the best I have ever used.

I also have a couple of scented semples, but my wife asked me to no use those atm.
She is pregant and her sense of smell is out of whack.

I like deep earthy woodsy smells rather than fruity, flowery smells.
I have Colleen's Cavendish Black, Gentlemen's Oak and Moss,
    and Leatherneck.
I really like all three but am partial to Leatherneck. I've had a lot of nice comments about the smell from women. Oak and Moss gets a lot of comments too.

These three scents are what I have been looking for for years. I am sensitive to smells too and some bring on instant headaches. For example there was a woman in the grocery store the other day who apparently had her Obsession perfume plumbed into her shower and I had to leave my groceries there in the cart and go home.

I used Williams for about 25 years and I think her soaps shave a lot better.

Maybe you could send off for some of the small trial sizes and see what you think.

It is something how people's sense of smell can be wacky. I have a difficult time smelling somethings ---for example: bad milk -hard for me to tell, a well produced "poot" ---I'm the last to smell it ---but put some flowery potpourri out and I can track it like a hound dog and air "fresheners" ---give me the unfresh air any day. Anyhow, thanks for the replies and let me get back to doing my nails!

I agree that Tabac and Colleen's Cavendish Black should fit the bill. Something to try if you want a very earthy, masculine, more "natural" scent is the Vetiver soap from QED. Its not for everyone, but man, do I love it. It reminds me a bit of grass, earth, autumn leaves and just a hint of smoke. Really nice. You can try it in the shave stick format before springing for a whole jar.

I'll second Colleen's Leatherneck as well as her Gentlemen's Oak & Moss. I also like C&E Sienna, Proraso and 1805. All Manly scents to my nose.

Maybe not John Wayne----maybe Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson wrapped in one.

All these guys are a little before my time, but what happened to men like this?

How could I forget about Clint Eastwood? Yep, a pinch of Clint Eastwood or maybe 2. Man, I like those spaghetti westerns ---and High Plains Drifter --one of my favorites.

Add a little hint of Once Upon a Time in the West.

Maybe a little Arnold S. from Commando, and Predator . ---probably smell like Tabac.

Alright, before I get too silly I'll quit , but I think we're getting somewhere.
