Don't know if you could add something but i assume that it is unscented

I'll second Colleen's Leatherneck as well as her Gentlemen's Oak & Moss. I also like C&E Sienna, Proraso and 1805. All Manly scents to my nose.

+1 also if you like Sandalwood, I like the C&E Sandalwood soap alot, it's a little drying but if you add enough water it shaves great.

I like the Tabac alot, I just got mine and find the scent of the soap very nice.

Maybe not John Wayne----maybe Steve McQueen, James Coburn, Lee Marvin, Charles Bronson wrapped in one.

All these guys are a little before my time, but what happened to men like this?

How could I forget about Clint Eastwood? Yep, a pinch of Clint Eastwood or maybe 2. Man, I like those spaghetti westerns ---and High Plains Drifter --one of my favorites.

Add a little hint of Once Upon a Time in the West.

Maybe a little Arnold S. from Commando, and Predator . ---probably smell like Tabac.

Alright, before I get too silly I'll quit , but I think we're getting somewhere.

OK and maybe a dab of Mel Gibson from the first two Mad Max movies ---- to give it a little edge, a little kick . Alright I'm going now but just to let you know:

"I am the Nightrider. I'm a fuel injected suicide machine. I am the rocker, I am the roller, I am the out-of-controller! "

Ok maybe not ---but anyhow ------the curtains close

Thanks to all the replies and I'll take a look into the suggestions -----bunch of good guys here.

They're still around and they use a straight razor to shave. And they happen to be the members here.

I'll also endorse the Tabac shaving soap. Also I'll suggest Joris which is very hard to find. It's not flowery to me but definitely masculine in scent. These two soaps are among the very best shaving soaps made if not thee best IMHO. For the Joris you'll have to mail order it through Atkinsonsofvancouver.com as they are the North American supplier. You can't order it directly from their site. You actually have to spend a dime and call them. The soap is well worth it though as the lather is outstanding.

BTW, Frank Sinatra wore Lavender water all his life. Lavender is considered a classic male scent. But it is derived from flowers which is probably your contention. Anyway hope this helps.

    Regards,
    EL
