Default Opinion on Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

While one can complain about price not sure anyone could complain about quality of product. Superb lather-ability and wonderful protection. Used a tiny amount of product with a Chubby 2 in a Georgetown Pottery scuttle and literally filled the bowl with lather. VERY good stuff.

Penhaligon's is good stuff, DR Harris is good too, "Marlborough" is nice fresh scent, and the "Arlington" has a lemon fragrance I believe. Both produce copious amounts of lather...

Yep, my son loves Marlborough although one of his favorites remains Mitchell's Wool Fat and Mike's (out of Brooklyn).

I just got back from a trip where I had a bit of acquisition disorder and ended up buying three different creams and one soap, a Straight Razor, two brushes and two different after shaves.
I got ArtOfShaving Lavender cream, Jack Black triple cushioning cream, M. Wool Fat soap and the Penhaligon's Blenheim cream and aftershave.

I haven't tried the MWF yet. The AOS cream has a great cushioning even without a brush, it really has an outstanding performance and the scent is subtle, I love Lavender. The Jack black is a good option as well, stronger scent and a great lather, As for the Penhaligon's... I can't say enough about it, it's simply unbelievable! Great lather, really thick and creamy and the scent is probably one of the best scents I've ever found on any soap, perfume, cologne or after shave... I don't even want to use it just so I don't run out of it. It's simply amazing!.

As for performance, my only reference point was Crabtree & Evelyn Nomad soap and all of the above mentioned are way better than the C&E soap.

No doubt, Penhaligon's products are the real deal.

My favorite scents from them are the Endymion and the English Fern.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

I absolutely love the Endymion. The lather is fantastic and the scent is intoxicating.

The Opus 1870 isn't too bad either.

Almost bought some Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet, but it was sold out when I went to order it so I got the ASB and it is awesome. I love the smell and it is absolutely on my list to get.

Oh and also (hope I'm not hijacking here) does anyone know if there is a difference between the Blenheim Bouquet cream that comes in the jar and the one that comes in the tube?

Someone here once tried to claim that "tube" creams are inferior to "tub" creams. There's nothing to back up that assertion. It's the same product, just packaged in a large or small size.
