Geo F. Trumper Coconut Oil Soft Shaving Cream
Geo F. Trumper Coconut Oil Soft Shaving Cream
Producer: Geo F. Trumper, London, England
Type: Soft Shaving Cream.
INCI (List of Ingredients): Aqua, Stearic Acid, Myristic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Coconut Acid, Glycerin, Parfum, Triethanolamine, Sodium Hydroxide, Methylparaben, Propylparaben
Very good ingredients, except - in my opinion - for Triethanolamine and Propylparaben, Score: 9
Pakage: Screw thread pot, very handy and functional, Score: 9
Quantity: 200g (7oz)
Smell: Lovely coconut scent, very pleasing and long lasting, Score: 9
Lather: Very easy to mount, a small quantity makes a rich, creamy, solid and fatty lather, very stable, Score: 10
Shaving: The sensation of this soap during the application on the skin with a brush is very pleasing and you can tell this cream is quite fat and slicky. The razor slides very well, no signs of irritation, in some spots, in particular at the end of the pass, I noticed it dried up a little, Score: 9
Conclusion: Excellent shaving cream, the scent is absolutely wonderful - at least to me - long lasting for all the shaving duration. No signs of irritation on the skin at the end of three passes, by caressing the skin you can tell this cream has a very good emollient quality. Not the best cream I have ever used, but certainly among the very best, Score: 9The RazorGuy - StraightRazorChannel on Youtube and Google+

Thanks for the review.
Most of your review mirrors my thoughts about TOBS Coconut cream that I have been using; not surprising since the list of ingredients are close to the same.

Thanks for that review. I've used the soap and agree with you just that the soap has a very minimal scent.

I am glad you gentlemen appreciated my review. I am planning to review all the soaps and creams I have in order we all can share opinions and comments about the products we use for shaving. I started with Valobra soaps, of which you can read in their thread, and this is my second one.

Thanked: 3My experience was good with this, great scent and good lubrication although I wouldn't give it high marks for "cushion". For me, third pass came up short in the lather department, face lathering, almond sized portion, Omega Pro 48, terrible water.

Didn't expect to see parabens in Trumper products. I use the sandalwood soap. No parabens listed in the soap.

Excellent review. I am predominantly a soap user but this Trumper's cream is the one I love.
