I agree with Obie on this. Colonel Conk shaving soap is an acceptable starter shaving soap, but its not top line.

There are many other shaving soaps out there of better quality--Edwin Jagger, Tabac, Pre de Provence, Institut Karite, Mitchell's Wool Fat, etc.

If you're looking for glycerin shaving soap, try Mama Bear's.
