I use rollers. And that's what I'll use this winter.
Orthopedist said no can do anything that puts more than a glass of water of pressure on my arm until he says so! I tore it up pretty bad. He said the next surgery if I don't follow instructions would be a real biggie! I'm in the healthcare field so I know after 4 MRIs in the last two months he ain't lying. 1 more MRI to get cleared next week, fingers crossed! But, if he says no, I won't be riding until Jan period.
