    Default Happy 4th Dans

    After a gruelling 2 + hours, my training buddy, john & I were awarded our 4th Dans in Ju Jutsu.

    Most of the focus was on multiple armed attackers (4), but other stuff included ground fighting , kenjutsu & shiai against 2 lower ranked black belts, armed & unarmed.

    The smiles hide the exhaustion & bruising but with a combined age approaching 120 we did ok for a coupla old farts

    btw That's me on the right sans my swords.

    A great accomplishment at any age, but a much more elusive one over 40. It shows great dedication. I think it is amazing.
