Yup, but that is as far as I am going to go on the subject. I did throw the political angle in because unsportsmanlike behaviour was brought up by someone else and that needed explaining.

Congratulations to the Washington Capitals and Alexander Ovechkin on breaking the all time goal record. Never thought I'd see the day but good for him. That's one hell of an accomplishment to get 895 goals and to beat Gretsky at anything.

Yeah, I saw that. I just saw they clinched a playoff spot. A lot of fluidity this time of year. I usually don't pay as much attention to the standings until the playoffs get close, especially out west. No offense to anyone out there. It's just pretty frantic in the east. Hell, it's pretty frantic in Florida. On that topic, perhaps you may have noticed that the Lightning pulled in front of the Panthers. That means home ice to start the playoffs. As it sits, if playoffs started today it would be Panthers at Lightning in the first round. That's always fun. In your case it would be Dallas in your barn. That would be very good for both our teams as both have big home ice advantages.

Exciting stuff. Man, I love hockey! Hard to hear it or anything else around these part as I guess there's basketbaĺl playoffs now or something () and all you hear is Gators this and Gators that. Again, no offense intended to anyone, just never caught that bug.

Anyway, good luck to your team Glen and to all out there. Play hard, shake hands and to the victor go the spoils.
