Tony Miller 3" Steerhide is a fine strop. It too has replaceable components. I have a Herold 3" oiled Russian leather strop in the mail. Anxious to see how it works out. It was a deal at $57, but has no sccondary stropping surface. Not to worry though as I have a couple of those in coarse and fine weave cotton from Tony Miller. The fine weave is some great stuff....
