Like I said in the initial post I'm in the UK.
Postage from the States is extortionate and not worth it imho.

There is a Kremer Pigments distributor in the UK.

Here is the link to worldwide distributors

    Here.

This is 0.25 micron cerium oxide, from Neil Miller's strop-shop.co.uk. If you do get cerium oxide read the MSDS sheet linked at the bottom on the linked page.

There doesn't seem to be anyone selling cbn sprays in the UK. Contacting some of the business listed in MacRaesBlueBook industrial directory may yield a local supply.

    Great.
They have 48120 Kremer Iron Oxide Red Pigment 120M 1kg.
Will this do or do I need the Iron Oxide Red 110 M, light mentioned in the kremer thread?
I'm hoping it's just another shade of red.

    Damn, 3 quid for 2.5g, that's over a grand for 1kg.
Thanks for info but I think I'll look elsewhere.

    #48100 Chemical description:Pigment Red 101.77491, Fe2O3CAS No. 1309-37-1

Since they are listed as chemically identical, best to contact Kremer or take a chance on grit size.

The strop shop cerium oxide is more costly by weight due to the labor of smaller packaging. That package likely would be a life time supply for personal use.

That’s more than you will ever need, why would you want a kilo?

A quarter of that will easily do a strop and if used properly… never need to be re-applied.

If Neil is selling it… it is the best you can buy…

That's what I was given, i think that it probably doesn't matter as the oil is only there to suspend the abrasive. Though I don't actually know for sure.

back to the OP I was given cerum oxide (0.2) And diamond (0.09) and of the two I prefer cerum. I also have CBN (0.125) which is nice too.

You really will need the best part of none to make a pasted strop. I was given tiny quantities and still have most of it left.
