If you buy paste or Crox crayon get the good stuff. SRP has some good products & I need to get some green crox soon.

I've got a small brick of the woodcraft stuff, but we all know how that goes. Been wanting to get the good good for a while, but I don't want the spray. SRD seems to be out of the crayon, I've been watching and waiting for it to come back in stock for a little while now. I'm not sure what the hang up is, but I do hope it gets sorted out soon. I'd hate to take a gamble trying somewhere else and end up with a brick of the same stuff I've got on hand.

I'd like to know what actual razor quality Chromox can do on a strop. The stuff I have isn't bad per se, but if you aren't careful you can go from A-OK to 'what have I done!? This is awful!' with surprising quickness.

Maggard's has razor-quality paste, which is what I use now.

Whipped Dog has .5 micron chomium oxide. Good quality powder. I add neatsfoot oil.
