Post shave I will dry the razor either towel or tissue paper, if I got it wet back in the scales , they too will get a dry down. Then I do anywhere from 25 to 50 laps on the cloth linen side and 75 to 100 laps on shell cordovan. After I apply a coat of ballistol and set on a stand I made over night , the following day I close the razor up and put back into my pelican case where the rest of my collection resides, surrounded by desiccant packs

I have two leather strops, one with slightly "rougher" surface than the other.
So I do 25 on fabric, 25 on rough leather, and about 50 on smooth leather.
After shaving I do 25 on the rough leather.
