I just bought a crox crayon, I have not received it yet, but should I just do the same? Or can I "draw on my strop like you did and do the same?

Thanked: 3215Make sure the crayon you bought is razor quality from a straight razor supplier, not the hardware/woodworking store “Green Polishing Compound”.
If it is, yes just draw it on the strop in ½ X 3 inch, X’s. Go all the way to the edge of the strop. You don’t need much and it will last many years before it need retreating.

great tutorial, i also have the stick/crayon type,
my strop has a linen side to it, do i put it on the linen?
