    Default Impulse buy

Today after shaving in the morning, I entered my room and without any immediate thought or logic went to The well Shaved Gentleman and ordered Tony's beginner strop. I actually talked to him and he seemed like a geniunly nice person.

I've been using the inside of one of my suede belts which worked quite well, but wanted something purposeful. So Tony says it might even be here on Saturday.

I never intended on buying it, in fact I've been eyeing an Aspinal of London wallet for quite some time. But, I'm happy that I bought it now. Can't wait until it gets here .

My mom's response to the package will be, "More shaving stuff? >_>"

I want a new strop but I end up buying more kitchen knives..... or sharpening stones... ARRGGHH!!!

Last time I almost bought my TM strop I got a phonecall that ended up in my buying Shapton Glass Stones... DOH!!

One of these days I'll ignore the world long enough to hit the "Pay for this" button....

Tony is a wonderful man to deal with...a true gentleman.

BTW, the beginner's strop is just awesome, too.

Thank you guys. Thank you also for your paitence when I cannot respond right away. Been really busy with the strop and my "real" job and sometimes just need a little down time.

We have family coming in from California tomorrow so will spend a few nice days with them to relax.

Haha I heard this from my wife just last night! And it was followed by "How much shaving stuff are you going to buy??"

To which I replied, "Less than all the replacement blades I'd buy for that M3 over the years "

No, don't go there. Some things you just need to let go.
