Seconding that YIKES and that
! Declawing is amputating the first joint of every toe on the front paws. Illegal in several countries and, I believe, some states; rightfully so in my opinion. And aside from the ethical aspect, being without front claws--a basic tool for hunting and defense for a cat--often has bad psychological effects. Declawed cats are much more likely to become biters, among other things.
