    Default HU: Illinois 827 low price

    Just a heads up for those who may be looking for a good, inexpensive canvas/leather strop. I picked up an 827 HERE for $29.95, which is a good $20 less than at most retailers (some of whom have a "best price guarantee" price matching policy, if you look closely).

    i was sooo close to ordering one as i desparately need a new strop and that one looks great. then i got to the part about shipping and it was $24.95 to Canada. maybe i am crazy but that seems a bit steep to me. i am still considering it as i like the looks of the strop, but in the US shipping was as low as $7.95, and who knows if they will charge me a brokerage fee as there was no USPS option for Canada.

    Sorry. i am not trying to dump on your great find. i am just disappointed that i couldn't the great deal you found.

    They have the description as being "from the only strop manufacturer in the USA"..... I emailed them about Tony and Keith.
