Real Skin Strops
Here in the Hill Country of Texas tales of Texas Rangers and tough people are told and written about. There are references to using human skin taken from the backs of dead Indians, bandits, and outlaws to make razor strops. Violent times they were. There might be some of those strops existing today. History isn't always kind or forgiving. It has to be that way.

Human Skin Strops
Google what happened to the great American Indian leader Tecumseh's body during The War of 1812. Razor strops were flayed from his dead body. One was taken to Washington for Henry Clay. Was this a form of scalping for trophy effect, or were the strops of quality for razor use? This is something we were never taught in history classes for sure...
