    I use a loop rope. This is essentially a thin length of rope with the ends tied together. The rope is then a closed circle. Well you take that rope and loop it around something and pull the one end through the other. You can clip the strop to the end then. Works well and is very sturdy.

    thanks. i just used a small piece of shoe string and i never knew why they had such a small clip on them

    Back in the old days Koken and other barber chairs had a small eye loop built into the arm that the strop hooked onto.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    well you always learn something new!i think ill use one of those big utility hooks; the ones rock climbers use. my freinds use the smaller ones as key chain holders

    That will work perfectly .... as well it will make it easy to unhook if you want to past the linen
