I have a few of them on 1 D ring and leave it on the door hinge. You have to be a little careful because it can come off while stropping but if your careful it works.

I recently received my red latigo from Tony. In the insert, he recommends not hanging it in the bathroom to store it, but laying it flat in a drawer, away from the moisture. You may have done yourself a favor. (I have to admit though, I still hang it in the bathroom for all the world to see!)

Ummm, I put one of those double hook towel hangers in my wall. If you matched up the bathroom fixtures I bet they also make a matching towel hook. I guess mounting it at waist height might be a small snag in the plan...

I've got two strops right now. One hangs from my wardrobe, the other from the sower bar. You could simply move it back and forth with you as I might had I only the one.

Mine is just hanging in a shoelace on the towel-rack.
Easy to remove when I have to.
And when it doesn't hang out there for the world to see, it is hanging in a cabinet in the bathroom.

Mine has a loop of the chain that is used for fan switches, along with a little carabiner. The fan pull chain goes around the doorknob, the mini carabiner clips to the frame of a cabinet we have. The only part I don't use is the clip that came with the strop...
