Thread: Horsehide vs latigo

I like the narrower ones too if for no other reason it's the classic proportions. It does feel odd going to a narrow one after using a 3" !

I have favorites based on appearance but tend to use a certian one for a week or two then switch to a different one. if you look at Dovo's selections over their history there must have been plenty of old timers out there with 1 3/4" strops. Wide really is a newer thing.

you can't go wrong with any type of strop as long as it is from a respected vendor.
