Several of our vendors sell great strops. Check out the Vendor's Corner. Also, look in the classifieds...

I would never buy a strop off e-bay except for a Vintage one as a collector...

As Dward already said we have some great vendors here already, and the Illinois #827 Russian can be had all day long from Nashville Knife Shop for about $30 if you are after a Russian one....

If you are in the USA or even if you aren't, you'll never be disappointed with the best. Sold here.

I agree with Jimmy Had !

I recently purchased a strop from Tony Miller, and it made me regret the money I wasted on cheaper strops ( I previously bought a Jemico and an Illinois) if your going to stick with it, it makes better sense to get a quality strop to start with.

high quality craftsmanship attention to detail and beauty all of tonys strops has those and more, you can get by with a illinois strop but once you try a latigo/horsehide you will regret buying all others

Buying a strop from Tony is really a no-brainer, IMHO. Quality, value, service, it's all there. Call or email him and he'll get you set up. I don't think you can go wrong with one of his red latigo strops.

Strops are one area I have managed to avoid an AD in, and Tony's RL strop is all I'll ever need
