    Default handamerican paste - only using this

    well, my ti pulled a bit, so i took out three dots of paste and stropped it with the paste and it is now keen again. seems i have done this about every 10th shave now? i gave away one of my barber hones and i am thinking that unless i ding it badly, this handamerican paste will do just fine. if i really get it bad, i guess i can order the flat strop and a coarser gritted paste, but do u think i will be hurting anything if i just use the paste from here on out? seems to be doing very well for me

    If you are starting with a properly honed & keen razor, pastes do just fine for maintaining the edge. I'm using the boron carbide & chromium oxide from HandAmerican myself for edge maintance.

    Default chromium oxide?

    Hy Finfan,

    Is that the Hand american chromium oxide (green)

    Can sometimes make a mess but what an edge! well worth it.
