    sure that would be great.

I guess what I am asking is if it will eventually ruin my edge to where i cant bring it back on my 12k touchup stone and will have to go to a lower stone and reset the bevel

    or

if it is just really really mild polish that helps and in no way harms the edge.

How many laps do you guys that use the white paste do before you go to leather before each shave.

answer to your question eventually you will need to go lower grit and set bevel and hone blade. Now how long time no one know.
i do approximately 10-15 passes no more then that then i clean edge of the blade and move leather side of the strop. will post picture a little late
    hope this helps.

Do you like it better than plain canvas/linen/cotton with nothing on them?

    Yes, YES!

    Use it.
    Everyday.
It's like vitamins for your razor!

Seriously. Previously I was pretty unconvinced about the benefits, if any, of canvas stropping. I threw on some Dovo white and it made a noticeable difference immediately. Much, mucH milder than ChromeoX, or low grit diamond, so you can definitely use it everyday prior to regular stroppping.

The Dovo white fills in the weave, and makes the stropping much smoother, but the chalk, or whatever is in there really makes is a great edge maintaner/refresher.

Give it a go. I really doubt you'd be dissapointed.

how many laps do you usually do on the linen seraphim

and after a while will i still be able to refresh my edge with just a high grit stone like a 12k or barber hone or will i need to go to low grit stones to reset the bevel from using this paste.

I'd say that if anyone didn't want to use it daily a good compromise would be to paste the underside of your linen strop and compare. I know the weave of the linen on my TM is pretty much exactly the same on either side, so why not?
