Thanked: 0strop treatment
I know this must sound stupid but, what should I use on my strop to condition it? Would olive oil work or should I use something like Obenaufs Leather Treatment, works great on my boots and gloves haha. Or can it be something as simple as neatsfoot oil. Thanks for your help.

Rex,
I have heard of others using olive oil and many leather conditioners work well too like Lexoil.
Dovo and Fromm make dressings for strops. I sell the Fromm via eBay.

Thanked: 2209Neatsfoot oil works well but use it sparingly, 2-3 drops.
The best is actual strop dressing.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
