    Default Strop worth buying?

    Hello,

These are images of a new strop, I asked seller to provide some close-ups of the surface.

Now, looking at these pics, could you tell me if it's worth buying?

The back looks normal for the flesh side of just about any leather. Some will be more dense, others a bit "loose" like the magnified photos show. This looks like a veg tanned leather, not latigo.
The front shows fat wrinkles and was likely cut up near the neck, just in front of the shoulder. Right around the should these can be seen but probably not felt, a bit further forward they leave ridges in the surface that will be felt in stropping. They probably would not damage an edge but not the ideal condition for a strop.
