Thanks for the response....think I'll play it safe and keep my TM outside the bathroom.

I live in frat and thus keep nothing in the bathroom. That said, at home, my mom thinks its a dumb hobby and thus none live in the bathroom their. The girl friend also thinks its dumb so I can't even keep on eat her house.

At first I thought it would be inconvenient, but its really no trouble to grab a razor, strop it up, and walk to the bathroom. That way everything is out of the humidity anyways. The real pain is carrying the soap/cream/bowl/brush back and forth (I'm allowed to keep that in my home bathroom so I can say for certain there is a big convenience factor on that. The razor/strop is no biggie.)

This is a very interesting thread... I keep mine in the bathroom, and I never gave it a second thought. I leave my bathroom door open when showering, though.

    Default Bathroom Strops

I have 4 strops in the bathroom with no apparent damage.
A DD No. 50, DD No. 70 both 40 years old, a Geo. Worthington finish strop 70 years old (my grandfather's) and a top grain cowhide w/canvas I made myself.

Keeping the bathroom door wide open should take care of any humidity problem.

I also have 4 strops in the bedroom. It's entirely possible to work up a sweat in this room too.....
