    I have been wondering if denim would be good for a strop. Thanks for the confirmation. I'll have to make one of these especially since I don't have a strop yet.
    Just curious though is softer better or is a pair of none stone washed rougher jeans better?
    Also how did you get the edges to not fray are they folded under and stitched underneath.
