    I would think that as long as the razor will pass the hair test it would be ready too shave. So I guess if you want to strop your razor in advance, just give it the hair test right before you shave. Make any sense?

    That is what I believe also because I did the same thing three weeks ago( I had nothing to do that afternoon) I also did not notice any difference.

    Interesting. I'm sure that some of this is due to all the variables involved. The hone job of the razor, stropping technique, beard type, etc...
