We have a pedestal sink that is butted up against a short wall that comes off the main wall. The top of the wall is good for putting toiletries on and the edge of the wall where the stud is is great for lagging and eyehook into. I just got the eye hook and caribiener in stainless steel at the local Home Depot. Make sure if you are going through drywall that your screw is long enough to bite into the stud. Otherwise, you might pull your strop hook out.
