Its not really a problem at the moment. I will be moving in a year and I don't want a permanent solution until then. Most likely I will find a wall hook of some kind.

Tie it to a door knob or towel rail with string or shoelace. That is usually the easiest method. It does depend on the strop and its attachment mechanism, but a bit of string can usually be made to fit

I'm with James on this one!! Low tech but it works well!

I use a two inch long screw hook into a wall stud at belly button height.
