Thread: Is it ok to buy a Pakistani Strop?

Please why would you want anything from a third world country!!!! Don't they worship cows or is that only India?? Stay away..

Seems the question's been well answered but I'd add that, on top of the actual leather quality, there's also a question of the tanning process and quality there.

I ordered a super nice, dual leather strop from Tony that would've been a deal at twice the cost and simply requested a practice strop with the order. The practice strop will likely be my "traveler" or maybe what I use on my Chef's knives and better quality carbon steel knives.
