    i dont really know i kind of just think your razor will be picking up blue gunk everytime you strop. its just the side i would use

    Speaking as a textile professional I'd say, "Hrrumph. Well done, sir. I like the pen section to prevent cupping and doubt you'll wear it soon. Probably crack the plastic from pulling on the lanyard before the fabric gets shoddy. I see it being replaced soon with a piece of copper tubing from your still."

    I have a little envy for strops with gold-embossed stamping and shiny brass hardware but a strip of leather and a strip of canvas isn't rocket science to nail together. I like the home made jobs.
