Cool, the best way will get sorted out as you use it. Neil makes great strops, starter or otherwise.

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'm really chuffed with it. The wife is happy for me to have decent stuff now she can see I'm into it. A year already and I'm still banging on about all things shaving!

This is the first "nice" thing I bought and Neil being the very nice guy he is threw in the cotton for free. I'll have a good'un next year when I've saved a bit of money.

I looked at some of the stuff online not realising Neil did a starter. When I saw he did, not a question about it.

That's a very nice strop my friend, don't kid yourself just because he calls it his "starter" strop.

I really can't praise his work enough. I love when someone cares about what the do and Neil does. He doesn't take advantage, infact I'd say he's generous as well as being happy to give advice. Glad we've got him rather than you guys :P

    DaveTheGeordie,

I have many of Mr Miller's strops, both paddle & hanging; they are all superb

In addition to World Class workmanship, Mr Miller is a very nice chap indeed

    Have fun !

    Best regards

    Russ

For Christmas I asked for a 3" strop that turned out to be a 1 3/4 " POS. After I practice nicking up this one I'll get one of these. Envious!
