Thanked: 580Nice strop. I have read here about using lather on your strop, a couple of old koken strops I picked up a while back had been treated this way. Smelled terrible, but the leather was still really supple. Probably had been sitting like that for 20 years I am guessing. Maybe a tallow based soap like MWF might be worth a shot?
