I have 3 strops. A 2" horse leather, a 3" Roo, and a strop that's all fabric. Plus all kinds of balsa paddles that I made.

My intention is to do away with all the balsa cluttering my drawers (my den is small). Moreover, because it's taken a bit of trial and error to discover what I like, I have pastes on the fronts and backs on most of my strops. It's driving me nuts and I want to clean up.

I have discovered that all I want is the 1 micron diamond, .25 micron diamond and the CrOx.

I was thinking of getting the SRD felt to replace all my fabric and then add another strip of leather as well. Going that way would be cheaper than the modular strop. But the notion of cleaning up and just using the modular and one hanging strop is appealing as well lol.

I am all over the place on this one. I have no idea why either lol. . Maybe I should just buy the parts and call it good. Either way, I am out of CrOx, so I'll have to get at it soonish - me loves the CrOx .
