    about 30 clean linen then 60 strokes on latigo after every shave works for me. I usually shave with Friodur 70 1/2 razors. I rub my clean palm about 12 passes one direction before stropping on the leather to clean and condition it's surface.

    I touch up on a pasted 4 sided paddle strop when the clean strop seems to be losing its effectiveness. Then I go back to my unpasted strop. This works for A long time.

    I drop back to my finishing hone only when the pasted strop starts losing effectiveness.
