I'm not sure what you're trying to show, but would like to help. Can you post a picture of where and how you're proposing to hang the strop?

Thanked: 0Here you go. Sorry for the poor lighting. I'm currently at my parent's house but this is what I'm wanting to do.

Thanks. That could work if there's enough room for your arms and the stropping motion. It wouldn't work in my tiny beach cottage bathroom over here on the coast.

Thanked: 0Ok cool. Yeah if the bath room gets to cramped I figure I can always move the strop to a bedroom door hinge. Is there any other attachment methods that don't involve putting a hook in the wall?

Thanked: 0Geezer I like your screen name lol. Yeah I understand that the strop is meant to be attached to a towel bar but my problem is that the one that I have is not that sturdy and don't want to take a chance of ripping it out of the wall but I might take a shot at it.

Yup! Thanx, I do understand and I did pull a drawer open trying that once't. I stayed at a motel where the towel bar was close to wast high, other wise I use your idea. I also bump the pin on the middle hinge up at home and some other places to make it easy to get a loop over and off it. And, yes I now have a counter high screw hook screwed deeply into a stud at a corner next to my counter top.
Have fun, you are doing the best thing to become a good shaver...you do think!
