    Hey Obie,
    Sorry I did not catch your dislike for Roo I would have kept my comments out of this. I use the balsa sheath on my hanging strops when I travel. I never did have much luck with a balsa paddle strop, but I am sure that is because I have not tried hard enough.

    I would encourage you to choose one of them as they are both very good makers and have great reputations.
    A veteran is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check, made payable to the United States of America, "for an amount up to and including my life".

    Yes, both Neil and Tolorf are great strop makers. I have had their strops. Good stuff. Now, I saw one of your strops at Sham's house and thought it was exquisite. Indeed, three great strop artists in our community is a cause for celebration.
