    Those look nice. The pattern in the leather is visually interesting.

    I like the hard wood ends. Never hit an end cap myself, but I can see it happening. The trade-off is a nice grip. I do wonder whether it would encourage me to put too much tension on the components.

    On a different note, there has been a few threads on hanging the strop in the bathroom. I am not a fan of doing this, and would be really concerned about hanging it against a face towel. Too close for my comfort..

    You've really learned a lot about strops in just a few days after reading your comments. For me that was the toughest part of shaving equipment to crack.

    Those are really nice and I wish you a lot of continued success with them!
